The Occasion:
From the viewpoint of law enforcement, what should we in IT be doing to reduce Identity Theft? We have invited the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office to come talk to us -- A Joint Meeting of the Evergreen and Puget Sound Chapters -- about what they think we should be doing to protect the data in our possession and prevent its use in Identity Theft.
We’ll be meeting downstairs at the Flying Pig, 2929 Colby Avenue, downtown Everett. Contact the Telephone Committee (425-261-5603) for reservations and, if you need them, directions. Or for directions you can visit our directions page and print out the details.
Check out our References Page for additional information on this topic.
